Greenhouse & Outdoor Garden
Girl Scout Gold Award project by Mary K. in 2022.
The greenhouse at Ridgedale Middle School was renovated and wooden garden planter boxes were constructed by Mary K. in 2022 for her Girl Scout Gold Award project. The Botany Club and special education at Ridgedale Middle School use the greenhouse and gardens.
Brooklake Trail
Conner B. of Madison Boy Scout Troop 25 created a trail off of Brooklake road for his Eagle Scout project in 2022.
Spring Garden Lake

Pollinator Garden
Liam B. of Madison Boy Scout Troop 25 created a pollinator garden at Spring Garden Lake for his Eagle Scout project in 2022.

Native Species Floating Islands
Floating islands were built for Spring Garden Lake and planted with native species by Alexander H., Madison Boy Scout Troop 25, for his Eagle Scout project completed in 2022.
Bat Houses
Douglas H., a Madison resident in Madison Boy Scout Troop 25, built and installed bat houses at Spring Garden Lake in 2022 for his Eagle Scout project.
Native Wildflower Planting
Ryan R. of Madison Boy Scout Troop 25 removed invasive Phragmites plants and created a habitat for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife for his Eagle Scout project in 2022.
Biodiversity Area
Kylie B. removed invasive Phragmites plants and created native species Biodiversity Area in their place at Spring Garden Lake for her Girl Scout Gold Award Project in 2020.
Little Library - Spring Garden Lake
Fall 2023 Eagle Scout project by Jake F. The Little Library is located at the East Madison entrance near the bridge.
Frog Pond
New plantings and a new pond liner have been installed.
Nicholas D. of Florham Park renovated the Frog Pond for his Eagle Scout Project in 2022.
Donations from Little Duck Day School, Bill Pryer Disposal Services, Harrington Construction, American Legion Post #43, Madison BPO Elks Lodge #1475, American Legion Post 43, Florham Park Department of Public Works (DPW), Florham Park Water & Sewer Utility, and Ely's Tropical Fish made this possible.
Garden Compost
James D. of Boy Scout Troop 8 created a composting area for the Florham Park Community Garden in 2022. This Eagle Scout Project is at Volunteers Park near the playground next to the turf field.
